Over the months since I started this blog, I have created many healthy sweet snacks, baked and unbaked. I thought I would do a summary of them for those who prefer not to eat too much fat and sugar but don’t want to give up on sweet treats. Many are gluten-free and/or dairy-free and/or sugar-free. I have discovered I have more than will fit in one post so this is part one.
Cranberry, Chocolate and Date Truffles – gluten and sugar-free
Banana Strawberry Muffins – dairy, gluten and sugar-free
Banana, Chocolate, Cranberry & Coconut Muffins – dairy & sugar-free
Almond, Orange & Cashew Cupcakes – dairy and gluten-free
White Raspberry Chocolate Cookies – dairy-free
Orange, Chocolate & Coconut Cookies – gluten & dairy-free
Ginger, Coconut, Raisin & Oatmeal Cookies – gluten and dairy-free
Almond, coconut & Chocolate Chip Cookies – dairy & gluten-free
Caramel Granola Bars – dairy & gluten-free
Caramel, Chocolate Granola Cups – dairy, gluten & sugar-free

I loved all especially caramel chocolate granola bars they look super yummy

Yes, caramel and chocolate is a favourite combination but these days I use only a touch of them so as not to ruin the health factor of the rest.

They’re worth the effort to make. At least you know what’s in them unlike the snacks you buy in the supermarket.

Thanks, Karen. Christmas is a time for lots of sugar-eating so this is the way to go to keep things under control.

Thanks. A feast for the eyes is halfway there, then the taste takes over.

I love your pictures. I could have anyone of these sweet treets, but I really like the Banana Strawberry muffins.

Actually those are the ones I would choose too. They were an experiment to make a sugar, gluten and dairy free muffin and they were delicious.

Great looking dishes! And you’re right that it’s all pretty healthy (even though an awful lot of it looks over-the-top indulgent!) Great pictures. Thanks so much.
