*Denise Coghill

*Thank you Suzanne for your very informative low FODMAP workshop. Before the workshop I had been struggling with the diet and not eliminating all my symptoms. I knew which foods to avoid but had no idea of all the other factors involved like food amounts, food combinations, spacing of meals and personal triggers. The workshop was well organised and gave us plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Knowing Suzanne was there checking our daily journals and offering advice on how to remedy our mistakes was very reassuring. The meal plans were a great template to work from and took out the worry of what to eat every day. I now feel as though I am armed with all the relevant information about IBS and the low FODMAP diet and can move forwards soon into the food reintroduction stage. It's such a hard thing to do on your own because of so many food temptations and varying lifestyles but having someone like Suzanne to coach you and put all the factors into perspective makes all the difference.

*The workshop with Suzanne has been a life-changing experience and I highly recommend it to everyone who suffers from IBS.  Prior to the workshop, I was chained to the toilet and suffered pain and bloating after eating.  My belly would distend so badly that I looked 9 months pregnant.  IBS was interfering with every aspect of my life. My husband was tired of going everywhere alone and I was missing out on so much.  Everything changed with the workshop and Suzanne's guidance with the low fodmap diet.  I learned so much and my symptoms disappeared immediately.  I am excited about the future and know that I can live a full life without symptoms. Suzanne has given me the tools to be able to manage my IBS on my own.  But, an added bonus is that we can remain in contact with Suzanne through the Facebook page and get help if a question arises.  The care and knowledge that Suzanne gave each of the participants is invaluable.  Thank you so much, Suzanne!  You are a lifesaver!

AND HERE IS WHAT IS INCLUDED

*Sandra Broome

*Thank you for your professional approach to a difficult subject, IBS and the curses it brings to our lives. You gave so much of yourself to help those enrolled in the workshop. The live sessions bringing participants together from around the globe to share their progress daily with yourself and the rest of us was great. To see and hear them brings a new dimension to the path of coping.  I hope they continue to share their ups and not too many downs on the organised Facebook Page. My specialist told me to follow the Fodmap diet. I had the Hydrogen Breath Test and have the Monash University App.  The latter has been great to check foods high in the food groups but apart from that I was left to my own devices to manage. The content of Suzanne’s elimination diet are a perfect way to get on the right track and with apparent 24 hour answers to the constant questions that inevitably come up. (Do you ever sleep, Suzanne?). I enjoyed the content of the menus and the comprehensive instructions on how to follow the daily food plan and journal. If you were thinking of registering for the Workshop then I have no hesitation in recommending it. You will not be disappointed. Once again, Suzanne, thank you for your help. To think you worked out a way to get yourself well from IBS and are able to share that knowledge.

Hi, My Name is Suzanne

I am your facilitator, co-pilot and IBS liberator.

I am a certified nutritional therapist specializing in IBS and the low Fodmap diet, qualified teacher, award-winning author and fulltime low Fodmap diet coach. My website, Strands of My Life features low Fodmap recipes, videos and articles on IBS and the diet. I have been featured on numerous podcasts, I have articles on several large health websites and have had many of my recipes published in hard copy magazines. I have suffered from IBS all my life and after having my life transformed by the low Fodmap diet I now dedicate my days to coaching others on how to eliminate their IBS symptoms once and for all. I am fortunate enough to see people’s lives revolutionized every day through my coaching work and I want to get this message and solution out to the whole world. It drives me crazy that there are so many who don’t know there is an answer to all this suffering. My greatest moments have been turning a 3-year-old Indian girl from a child curled up in the corner in pain to a happy child playing out in the yard with her friends, and helping an 83-year-old woman, who had suffered horribly all her life, discover that there is peace on earth after all. I would love you to become another of my success stories.

*I found Suzanne Perazzini’s Low Fodmap elimination diet after browsing the internet for information on the low Fodmap diet, which had been recommended by my doctor. It took a conversation with a therapist specializing in attention deficit disorder (ADD) to convince me to pursue this way of eating. After hearing how much the diet had improved this person's intestinal and emotional health, I took the plunge. It was Suzanne’s passion in a live webinar that pushed me off the fence. Due to organizational challenges and major stresses in recent years, my culinary habits had become sporadic at best. While I thought I was eating healthy foods, I never realized how much I had been living on salads to fill my vegetable quota, nor how much processed foods and sugar I really was eating, and how often I was eating. Thanks to the workshop, I was pulled out of my cooking slump and now fill my cart with fresh produce like fresh fennel and herbs, and even meats like salmon, which I normally find too fishy. But Suzanne will have that effect on you, and you will find yourself preparing savory dishes you never imagined. Even working one on one with a nutritionist did not yield the kind of results I gleaned from the workshop. While the goal of this diet is not to lose weight (or gain it), I was pleased to trim a few pounds and eliminate the reflux problems and other IBS symptoms I had put up with for so long. When I saw how well informed Suzanne was and how much she cared, I began to care more as well. I was touched in unexpected ways by the camaraderie of this very international group, all working together towards a common goal. It was the best investment I have made in a long while.

IS THIS WORKSHOP PROGRAM RIGHT FOR YOU?

  • If you have tried the low Fodmap diet and can’t understand why your symptoms have not completely disappeared, no matter how hard you have tried, then this workshop will finally give you the answers you have been looking for.

  • If you have been directed to the low Fodmap diet by a health practitioner who has either told you to Google it or has given you a random list of good foods and bad foods, and you are rightly confused and don’t know where to start, then you are in the right place – get started now.

  • If you have been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome and the doctor has said he can’t help or has simply given you medication to mask the symptoms, then this diet will amaze you with how efficiently it will eliminate your symptoms.

  • If you have inflammatory bowel disease, then you will need to be on any medication the doctor has recommended but you will also need to be on the low Fodmap diet if you ever want to get a handle on your digestive issues.

*I attended an IBS conference in Sheffield a fortnight ago to celebrate 25 years of an IBS Network, where numerous health professionals and IBS sufferers gave brief talks. As the day wore on I became more and more frustrated as there was a tendency to dwell on the symptoms (which we are all well aware of!) with very little guidance on how to overcome the difficulties. In a nutshell, I just wished that you were there to give a concise presentation on how to become well! Yes, low fodmaps were mentioned as well as the Monash App and  King's College London's new app but very little guidance on portion control and no mention of an elimination diet and a re-introduction in due course. In short, I would like to congratulate you on the positive approach of your programme which focuses on complete recovery and that this is perfectly achievable within a truly disciplined approach. This is in contrast to the message given in the conference programme that "there are no cures for life for IBS" - this statement immediately puts a sufferer into a somewhat negative state of mind which, of course, is detrimental to the IBS sufferer. Thank you so much for all the intensive research that you have done for this workshop and your prompt replies to all our queries. I have learnt so much about food discipline and portion control during the last two weeks and I so loved your warm, friendly but no nonsense approach!

FAQ

Will I get to ask my questions? +

You will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get support through the live Q&A sessions and the Facebook group, where I will reside for the two weeks of the workshop.

Is this workshop really for me? +

If you know you have irritable bowel syndrome, or if you have been directed to the low Fodmap diet by a health practitioner who has either told you to Google it or has given you a random list of good foods and bad foods, or you have already tried the diet and can’t understand why your symptoms have not completely disappeared, no matter how hard you have tried, then this workshop will be perfect for you.

What kind of results should I expect? +

The results will depend on your dedication to the process but they can be very quick. An accurate low Fodmap diet can eliminate your bloating and diarrhoea after just a few days. Constipation takes a little more effort to get a few things in place but even then, your bloating will be gone in the first few days and the constipation will reduce quickly as you start to implement my suggestions.

Which countries can participate in this workshop? +

This workshop is open to IBS sufferers from any country. The only thing you need is an internet connection.

Will I get continued support after the two week workshop has finished? +

Yes, I love to keep in touch with my clients. The Facebook group will be open indefinitely for questions and support.

I may not be able to attend all the live sessions. Will I miss out on all that information? +

No, all live sessions will be recorded and will be held in the online workshop hub for you to access whenever you want. The live sessions will be scheduled according to the participants who enrol and will be, as much as possible, during your waking hours.

I am very picky about food. How can I know that I will like your meal plans? +

The meal plans you will receive will be flexible enough for anybody from any culture. You choose foods from lists. For example, the meal plan may say, 1 protein, 1 carbohydrate vegetable, 1 non-carbohydrate vegetable. Then you will choose what you would like to eat from a supplementary Food Group List.

I don’t like cooking and don’t have much time for it. Will these meal plans include complicated meals? +

I appreciate that there are times when you want to cook and times when you have to make a quick meal. I include many delicious recipes for dinner to keep the food interesting but there is always a very simple alternative if that’s what you prefer that day.

Will I have to cook a separate meal for the rest of my family? +

No, these meal plans are designed to include dinners that the whole family can eat. They can have their high Fodmap foods at the other meals when a family often eats separately anyway and take less time to prepare.

What can this workshop do for me that I can’t do for myself? +

You might think that you can sort the low Fodmap diet by yourself and you might manage it, if you don’t give up first. It could take you six months or a year to gather all the pieces together like I have done over the last three years but as I have said, this is a complex diet – the list of allowed foods is only one piece of the puzzle. There are many pieces that make up the complete transformation. I can give you the information and help you need in two weeks, not six months or one year or three years.

One of my clients, Kelly Reidinger said, “Suzanne's knowledge on how to incorporate this diet into your life is invaluable and I couldn't have done it without her.”

And Rachel who tried to go it alone said, “One of the GI doctors who diagnosed me with IBS suggested a low-FODMAP diet but he had no additional information on it -- he’d printed off the Internet!  I tried to follow it myself and research online but all I could manage by myself was hard boiled eggs and low-carb popcorn because these were the only things that seemed to keep my stomach calm.  This could not continue.  I dropped weight quickly and tons of energy and lived in fear of going out to eat.”

I can give you the solution in a minimum amount of time and I will give you only what works. You will be supported along the way by someone who cares and understands your experience.

How do I get started? +

You start by clicking on the blue button in one of the bright pink sections of this page which have a countdown button and says, “Join the Workshop....“. You can pay through Paypal or with your credit card. You will then be asked to register for the workshop and create your own personal login details for the online workshop hub. Next you will then receive an email with initial instructions. While you are waiting for the workshop to officially start, you will be able to have a look around the workshop hub at the bonus videos and find the schedule for the live sessions.

I have a question. How do I get in touch with you? +

If you have a question, please email me at lowfodmapcoach@gmail.com

*"I had been pottering along on a very lenient low-FODMAP diet for around three years before I met Suzanne online during one of my Google raids for 'The Answer'. When I stumbled upon Suzanne's Strands of my Life program I thought why the heck not, I've tried everything else. Well, what a wonderful surprise when I noticed my stomach becoming less unpredictable and more of a friend than foe.

Suzanne's wealth of knowledge and her generosity to give her all to help those-in-need was and still is so wonderful. The meal plans provided by Suzanne were easy to follow and clearly laid out and provided a rest period for my poor digestive tract. Suzanne held our hand the entire way with guidance and love, celebrating the little wins and learning from the slip ups, of which I had many!  So thank you Suzanne! You've helped me better understand my wild stomach and in turn removed my gut related anxiety. What a wonderful blessing you've been!"

WHAT THE WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS SAID ON FACEBOOK

What other Workshop participants have said...

After spending a night in hospital, a nurse told me to try the low Fodmap diet, which could help my constantly bloated stomach, nausea, vomiting and constipation, I had only been having these symptoms for about 18 months and I couldn’t seem to eat anything without those symptoms and also constant lower back pain, hence just the thought of food made me anxious.  So, I thought yay a simple change of diet and hopefully I would feel normal again.  I was excited and started doing my research on the net and very quickly became so anxious to the point of breaking out in a clammy sweat, disheartened and so confused - this diet was a nightmare. There was so much conflicting information and I thought there is no way I am going to be able to get my head around this and gave up reading about it.  A couple of days later after a horrible day of pain, bloating, running to the toilet what seemed like every five minutes, I started my search on the net again and came across Suzanne’s website. After only reading for a while, I got really excited again and thought yay someone out there that really gets it and I understood her website and then at the bottom there was a link to click to join a two week workshop that would help guide me through the low Fodmap diet.  Oh boy, talk about excited.  I joined the workshop and it was by far the best money I have ever spent and truly a lifesaver. I started feeling much better after a couple of days and by the end of the workshop the diet was not only not confusing anymore, but I could do it.  I felt normal, and so relieved and even hubby said it was nice to have his wife back!

PS: Hubby says a big thanks also as now I am cooking really yummy low Fodmap recipes with all fresh ingredients, herbs and spices and no packet foods!  So much tastier and so much better for you!

*Chrissy Chapman - New Zealand

The low Fodmap Diet Workshop was an amazing eye opener for me.  I have suffered with IBS with constipation for 40 years, and severely in the past 8 months. My life came to a near halt these last months as the intestinal spasms, constipation, bloating became so severe. I had been introduced to the Low Fodmap diet a year ago by my primary care doctor. She gave me the list of foods that I could and could not eat. I was again given this list by my functional/integrative physician along with the Monash app. I did not understand how to implement this diet, especially how to use the combination of foods and portions of low Fodmap foods until I took your course. I appreciated all the videos, challenges, live training and Q & A sessions immensely. I now understand the complexities of living with IBS, but also how to control the symptoms through the low Fodmap diet and lifestyle changes. Your workshop has changed my life for the better. Thank you for all your hard work over the years to personally experience and gather all this important information. You have given us many tools, but most important has been that you really care that each one of us succeeds in using these tools.

*Karen Purkey ❤

I started to experience IBS symptoms almost four years ago, after taking a course of antibiotics, bloating was the main problem. My doctor suggested a low FODMAP diet, which was moderately successful. Subsequently two other professionals assisted me in refining my diet. With each new strategy I achieved some short term relief.

I came across Strands of my Life while doing research online.

I attended a webinar then took part in the Low FODMAP Diet Formula Workshop. By using the supplied menu plans and video resources, together with Suzanne's day to day personalised guidance my condition improved. Suzanne's method is more prescriptive and targeted, than other strategies and without her invaluable knowledge, I would not have discovered where I needed to improve, to ensure long term relief. Suzanne has a profound understanding of this condition and a wealth of experience, and I am most grateful to her for help.

*Melissa

I was confused about the low fodmap elimination diet before I started the workshop and was also having to use Imodium. I wasn't clear about what I was doing wrong. The helpful information that I got from the workshop and Suzanne has made a BIG difference. She really knows what to do and how to do it (amounts, meal timing, combinations of food, etc.) She was available to answer questions if I had them. It is so wonderful to know you can feel better at last if you follow the instructions.

*Mary Lippert

I have just completed the elimination diet with Suzanne and am so pleased with the results. I’m feeling so much better and will continue until I no longer have any issues. I like how Suzanne analysed our daily diary to show what we should stop eating or reduce the amounts. An excellent workshop, thank you so much Suzanne.

*Christine Dixon

Before these two weeks, I was eating FODMAP foods, but not the correct amounts.  Even though a dietician was helping me by email (as my insurance wouldn’t pay for any visits), I still couldn’t get it right. Plus, I was eating way too much sugar, even though I would try to space it apart.  I had improved, but simply couldn’t get my symptoms eliminated.  I didn’t realize the timing of the meals and the importance of fat and sugar intake. My constipation hadn’t budged at all. I was completely dependent on Fleet enemas, because I didn’t like the effects of the laxatives, even Miralax. I did take a lot of Stool Softeners, which didn’t help. They are full of Sorbitol. My cramping stomach would sometimes flare up and in those cases, I would be sure to have Dicyclomine handy.  The gas situation was out of control.  I bought products to control the odor, as well as downing a lot of Beano and Gas X.  I swear I would take two bites of anything and I would have gas immediately. Going to a restaurant with friends was a nightmare. I was always in the bathroom so that I could pass gas!

My whole life has changed drastically for the better.  Plus I have a new haircut.  So at 73 years of age, I feel like a new woman!!

*Karen Hinnerman

Your IBS workshop has done wonders for me.  As long as I am faithful to the low FODMAP diet my IBS-D symptoms have almost disappeared.   I learned so much about nutrition from your coaching, especially the timing of meals and amounts of foods to eat.  I had forgotten about limiting fats when you have no gall bladder, which I think was contributing to my problems, specifically my peanut butter and mayo addictions. J    I really enjoy your delicious  recipes.  I am most grateful to you, and will continue to follow your advice.

I was reluctant to jump into the coaching program, but doctors had not been able to help me with the many medical tests and medications.  So, why not give it a try.

I was able to find out what foods were my triggers and what I needed to avoid.  Suzanne's program has changed me for the better.  As we were nearing the end of the program my wife said, "You are a totally different person"!!  I guess that statement sums it up.

*Jo Churchill

Thanks for all your help. Before I started the program I was in pretty bad shape, with anxiety, depression, and panic attacks which were all IBS related. I just returned from a 7 day cruise on the Rhine River, which I am happy to report went very well. I had no real incidents and had a great time. I believe I am ready to start reintroduction.

*Jack Albright

I needed help with the low Fodmap diet.  Before your workshop, I was running to the bathroom with IBS-D, afraid to leave the house, and when I did go out and get to my destination my first priority was to find a bathroom.  Since your workshop, I am not running to the bathroom, I am having normal bowel movements, I have been able to go out to eat, and feel less anxiety and more confident in leaving the house. Your workshop has helped me to manage my IBS ~ what to eat, how to eat and when to eat, getting a good night’s rest, and how to handle stress to get my body back in balance.
