Chilli Sauce Hamburgers
  • 500g mince meat
  • Cumin seeds
  • Salt & pepper
  • Edam cheese, sliced
  • Avocado sliced
  • Tomatoes sliced
  • Alfalfa Sprouts
  • Onions sliced
  • Lettuce
  • Burger buns
  • Hummus
  • Chilli sauce
  • Plain yoghurt
  1. Mix the mince with cumin seeds, salt & pepper, form into patties and fry in a little oil.
  2. Fry onions slowly in a little olive oil until caramelised.
  3. When the patties are almost done, top them with a slice of cheese so that it melts.
  4. Mix the chilli sauce with the yoghurt to create the burger sauce.
  5. Toast the buns under the grill in the oven.
  6. Spread the hummus on the bottom buns and place the patties on top.
  7. Then assemble the rest - sauce, onions, tomatoes, avocado, lettuce.
