Low Fodmap Moussaka
Adriano and I were watching a cooking competition called My Kitchen Rules on the television and one of the contestants cooked a Greek moussaka dish, which the judges weren't very happy with. I said that I could make a better one than that and Adriano said he wanted it the next night. So I had to back up my words with action, and the next evening saw me making a moussaka. An hour and a half later, this was the beauty that emerged. Why does everything always take so much longer than expected? Anyway, the judge (my husband) couldn't complain about this moussaka and I didn't have to eat my words, as well as the dish. I couldn't help myself but had to add my own touch in the form of spices, which were not very Greek, but sure lifted the dish above average. 5.0 from 2 reviews Low Fodmap Moussaka Print Author: Suzanne Perazzini Serves: 6 Ingredients For the mince 500 gms/17.6 oz minced lamb 3 spring onions, green part chopped 1 tsp garlic-infused oil 1 tbsp cooking oil … [Read more...] about Low Fodmap Moussaka
What Exercise to do if you have IBS
We all know that we should exercise, that it will keep us healthy, that it will prolong our lives and improve the quality of our life. But many people do very little or nothing, while others are sporadic in their efforts to get fit. They go all out for a few weeks, maybe even months and then something happens that makes it too hard and they quit, while promising themselves that they will get back to it when this hurdle has been overcome. A small percentage exercise on a regular basis over the years and decades. You have IBS and you can't afford to make excuses not to exercise. I have heard it all in my phone calls with clients and prospective clients. They feel too ill, they have no energy, they are too busy. And the excuses go on. But the fact is that nothing will change unless you change something. It won't happen all by itself. You will never feel well if you don't exercise, you will never have any energy if you don't exercise, and the excuse about having no time is so old that … [Read more...] about What Exercise to do if you have IBS

It's interesting how you think that things should be in a certain way because that is your reality but then someone shows you something different and it's like, "Why didn't I think of that?" Feta and Spinach Turnovers – Low Fodmap and Gluten-Free
Here is another way to use the basic bread dough that I use for bread rolls and pizza bases. It rolls out well and any small tears can easily be mended. The fillings you could invent are endless including a typical pizza topping of tomato, ham and cheese. This is a great way to use up leftovers, perhaps a meat sauce from a pasta meal. The dough really is very easy to throw together so this could be a very simple dinner dish that all the family would love.
