A Very Special Announcement
I am immensely proud to announce that Quarto publishing Group USA Inc. has signed me to write a book on a Low Fodmap diet 6-week plan combined with a cookbook to be published under the imprint Fair Winds Press, which produces beautiful books. This book will give you step by step instructions on how to implement the low Fodmap diet and how to complete the reintroduction stage so that by the end of the 6-week plan, you will be in control of your IBS symptoms. This book will contain everything I have learned over the last 5 years about IBS and the diet through my research as well as my own experience with it and that of hundreds of my individual clients including group clients, who now live symptom-free lives. You will also get 100 recipes, all of which have been tested by me and eaten by the family. And believe me, they let me know if one doesn’t work well and then it gets discarded.
I don’t currently have a publication date but it should be some time this year. I am working hard on it right now.
Life Balance Challenge
I am also working hard on getting everything ready for the free Life Balance Challenge which starts on 16th February. Make sure you get in because the next one won’t be for several months. You can participate as much or as little as you like but it is a great opportunity to get all those things like sleep, stress and exercise in place now before you have got too far into the year. Register HERE.
Stand Up For Yourself
I know that you are secretive about your irritable bowel syndrome and therefore you dread eating out in company. You also have to deal with friends and family members who may question the validity of your diagnosis and decision to be on the low Fodmap diet. You need to stand up for yourself because few other people will. Take this out of the closet and let others know you have it. There’s no need to discuss it at every turn but those around you should know. In order to impart this information or confront the naysayers of the world, you need a certain skill set to stay strong. In this video I have given you lots of strategies for standing up for yourself in a calm, controlled way.
